Former president of Georgetown College, Robert Mills held a special connection to Owen County and always strived to improve education in the area. This new opportunity honors President Mills’s time as one of the longest serving (1959-1978), most influential, and most popular presidents in the history of Georgetown College. His legacy has continued with his son, Bob Mills Jr., currently serving as the Georgetown College Board of Trustees Vice-Chair. Legacy and Legends further extends President Mills and his family’s legacy by giving a new generation of students access to the premier education provided by Georgetown College.
